As gardeners, taking back control of our seed supply is one of the most revolutionary things we can do. In this half-day workshop, we’ll delve deep into both the practical and philosophical issues involved with choosing, growing, saving, and storing the most sustainable seeds.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding the differences between open-pollinated, hybrid, and GMO seeds
  • Choosing the right seeds for your garden
  • Saving your own seeds
  • Short and long term seed storage
  • How seeds impact our local and global communities
  • And more!

Space in this workshop is limited, so please register and pay in advance, either online through Eventbrite or by cheque.

*Please note: the Creative City Centre is accessible only by stairs.
**Non-monetary exchanges are welcome and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Send cheques, payable to Root & Branch, to 2250 Broder St, Regina SK S4N 3S6.
